Make a difference
Much of our important work is carried out by individuals like you. Whatever your interests, abilities, experience or availability, you can make a difference.
Here are some of the ways you can help:
No need to register, but we suggest you do so in order to get our updates and be fully equipped to participate in any way you'd like. Here are some of the ways Friends of V2W can contribute:
- Encourage veterans to sign up.
If you know a veteran who's disabled, recently discharged or having trouble finding a job, direct them to our site so they can register. They'll get preferential consideration for exclusive job postings. - Write to influential people, like your representative, a policymaker, business executive, reporter or celebrity. Here are some letter samples you can use. If you want to get more involved in outreach, you can register as a volunteer.
- Refer us to business opportunities. If you know a company that may want to expand its veteran hiring programs or might be interested in our veteran-staffed outsourced services, email us (development@veterans2work.org).
- Introduce us to donors. Forward our Case Statement to organizations or individuals you think might be interested in investing in our cause.
