Get the Jump on your Veteran Hiring
In today’s business environment of slow economic recovery and fiscal caution, companies might ask: What additional resources will bringing more veterans to our employee roster require? What about service-disabled veterans? What considerations or concessions would we need to make for those who are disabled from their military service? How does a hiring manager even go about finding veterans that might be potential employees?
Veterans2Work has crafted an innovative new program that takes the uncertainty out of bringing veterans to the workplace. Called Quick Start, this hands-on, fully-managed program is specifically designed to provide efficient access to veterans who are ready and able to join the private sector workforce.
Quick Start is a six-month program in which Veterans2Work works with company management to develop and execute a comprehensive hiring and training program. It includes recruitment and hiring support, internal mentoring and coaching programs, on-boarding and training plans, and hands-on training assistance.
The first three months of the Quick Start Program brings Veterans2Work representatives to the hiring organization to work closely with management to understand veteran hiring objectives and requirements, and to design the implementation program. The second three months of Quick Start delivers ongoing management support via e-mail and conference calls to ensure the success of the company’s veteran hiring program.
